With industry tastemakers serving as judges, performers will compete for a place on the most anticipated stage at sea. Born in Ohio, moving to Texas, North Carolina, then back to Ohio allowed Matt to listen to a wide variety of the local favorite styles of music. Picking up his dad’s guitar at a young age was just the beginning of a lifetime of playing music. After a successful basketball career (Ohio State and Professionally in Germany), Matt traded in his basketball for a microphone and hit the stage. Writing songs and playing gigs is Matt’s idea of heaven. Playing 300+ gigs per year and writing down on Music Row fill his time and he’s always looking for new places to play both locally and on the road. Margaritaville has always been a favorite spot to play fun and memorable music.
